We believe that rental rates in general will continue to climb over the next 7 years and then plateau, at this point the rates achieved by average properties will begin to decline, though sea-view properties are unlikely to drop below the rates currently achieved. This assessment is based on the increasing popularity of the island, both for tourists and permanent residents, balanced against the current level of new build coming on to the market.

Gaia Residence will continually outperform this average due to its exceptional location. There can only ever be a tiny number of properties in walking distance to the beach and these properties will always rent first. Furthermore Gaia is a few minutes walk from all the amenities and the café life style of Chaloklom; this opens the property to a whole new rental market beyond the tourist sector.

Gaia is also quiet and has 180 degree views over the bay. Other properties may achieve a good sea view by being high on the mountainside, but they are 15 minutes drive to even the most basic shop, usually along steep and dangerous roads. From Gaia you can literally take your children by the hand, walk down our steps and be at the beach, the supermarket, the cafes in just a few minutes.

There are no other places that combine proximity to the beach, proximity to town amenities, an incredible view AND quiet, forested surroundings. We are very confidant that the rental rates will be more than stable and that Gaia will occupy that exclusive rental bracket which always rents first.

We work with experienced solar specialists and can offer a complete solution using the latest technology. We will oversee the solar installation for you, but it is not included in the quoted price. The price includes tiles, kitchen, toilets, showers, washbasins and baths. We provide furniture pack options for all other necessary items, but they are charged additionally. Sourcing and shipping good quality furniture at a reasonable price can be quite stressful. We organize purchase, shipping and installation so that your home will be ready for living or rental as soon as you step through the door.

There are two deep wells on site. Gaia has access to the municipal water supply but does not require it.
